Hi, I’m carolyn gaeckle

(They/them)

I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with roots in community health, where I first witnessed how deeply unmet our collective need for psychiatric care remains. Six years ago, I moved fully into psychiatric practice not to “fix” minds, but to walk alongside people as we navigate the layered terrain of wellness together.

My approach is whole-bodied and whole-hearted: tending not just to thoughts or symptoms, but to the living weave of body, mind, spirit, and the relational fields we move within. Mental wellness is not a single destination but a rhythm—shaped by culture, community, and the weight of expectations we often silently carry.

With each person I meet, I seek not to prescribe a path but to co-create it: listening deeply, honoring identity and experience, and shaping care plans that resonate with each person’s unique way of being. My door is open to new patients ready to explore this work together in a space of compassion and collaboration.

My Approach

Healing, for me, is not a linear path or a checklist of symptoms—it’s a shared journey of listening, curiosity, and care. My practice is grounded in holistic psychiatry, which means tending to the interconnected layers of your wellbeing: mind, body, spirit, and the relationships that shape your daily life.

I believe every person carries their own wisdom and pace of healing. Rather than rushing toward a quick fix, we pause to understand the deeper patterns of stress, resilience, and possibility in your life. Together, we explore tools and treatments—from evidence-based medications and therapies to lifestyle and mindfulness practices—that align with your values and needs.

Cultural and societal pressures can weigh heavily on mental health, and I honor the unique experiences you bring. My role is to offer guidance and support while we co-create a care plan that feels safe, compassionate, and truly yours.
